October Message from the Frolicking Fae

By Terri C.

Based on meditations using the Oracle of the DragonFae

In my world, we are waking up to damp, cold mornings. I rise and drive my girls to school. We drive down off the hill into the valley, meeting fog somewhere along the way.  As the mist rises, the sun peeks out over the trees. This makes way for somewhat chilly but pretty fall afternoons. As I write this, I’ve noticed the first of the leaves dancing their way to the ground.

The beginning of October, we find ourselves in the precarious shadow of Mercury Indirect. Use this strange and wonderful energy to move forward. It IS a matter of choice.

This is a good time to dig deep. Do that shadow work. Really stretch yourself. Many deep-rooted secrets can flood to the surface during this time. It is also important to laugh, especially at yourself.

Any major decisions should be put off until the second week of the month. This particular time of the month is setting itself up to be incredible for travel, even if only astral projection or creative visualization.

Where would you like to be? Set some time aside and take yourself there. Begin by relaxing either in a quiet room, or by playing soft music as a background noise. Visualize yourself packing your bags, using your favorite form of transportation. See your arrival.  What is the first thing you do? Do you go to a beach and rub your toes in the sand? Or do you perch on top of a mountain near a stream? It’s all up to you!

The middle of the month will provide you amazing insight. If you are a reader and you have the opportunity to schedule readings or can find a reading venue for the two weeks in the middle of the month, take advantage of it. You should find your readings spot-on and your intuition running overtime. If you are not a reader, pay attention to those gut feelings, innermost thoughts, and dreams. Look for patterns and messages.

The third week of the month, it’s time to look inside your heart and soul. Believe in yourself and take action. You know what I’m talking about. What have you been putting off? Why are you afraid to move forward? Ask yourself honestly what is the worst thing that could happen if you took action. Don’t let fear get in your way.

The last week of the month, try giving yourself a clock-free day. Schedule absolutely nothing. Try finding your personal clock and follow that for a couple of days. See how it feels to move to your own personal rhythm.

With the cooler weather settling in, it points us in the direction of warm, family meals.  The Fae want to encourage you to take advantage of the bounty from your local area first.  Find a local produce stand or farmer’s market. Support the local farmers.    Then drag out that crock-pot or slow-cooker. Google soup, stew and chili recipes. You will be amazed at how much money you can save cooking this way!  And you might find this family time a rare treat!

As always, I hope you find that this message from the Fae helps guide you through the ups and downs of this month! Remember to say a special little thank you to our Fae Friends, for the guidance, insight, and entertainment!

See you again next month, and keep the faith!
