February Message from the Frolicking Fae

By Terri C.

Brian Froud's The Faeries Oracle

With Valentine’s Day falling in the month of February, the Faeries and I decided it would be most fitting to focus on relationships. Not just romance, but all relationships, such as parent/child, friends, and family.

As we enter the month of February, you should find that you are feeling more in control of your relationships. Try not to abuse this power. If you are feeling something needs to be changed, change it. If you are looking to make a relationship stronger, now is the time. It is also a good time to let go of relationships that no longer serve you.

Raise the bar; expect more! Especially if you are seeking new relationships. Set your intention; write down exactly what you are looking for in a relationship. Be specific here...hair color, eye color, hobbies, occupation, etc. When you set your intention and focus on what you do want, that is what you will manifest.

Be aware of complicating matters. You are entering into a period here, with very clear sight. What you see is what you get. So don’t over-think things.

Those of you with children of any age, need to shift your focus over to them. Help them see the positive relationships in their lives. Talk with them about their expectations and how to have healthy relationships with family and friends. Help them with setting personal boundaries, if needed.

The focus here is completely on the positive. If you go into this conversation with a negative focus and tell them who they should not spend time with, you will push them directly to that person. Keep your focus going in the right direction.

The second week of the month, you will find it’s time to give up some of your old beliefs, attitudes, and toxic relationships. You will find that they just are not serving you any more. These emotions block the good energy. Release them and ask that positive energy, beliefs, and attitudes fill the void. If you have trouble here releasing, ask the Fae to come in and help you.

Once you’ve gone through the releasing process, you will find that it is a good time to actually reach out and expand your circle of friends and grow your existing relationships.

The Fae encourage you to examine your existing relationships, especially those family relationships, and determine which of those you value. Which relationships bring out the best in you? Those relationships are where you should focus your energy. Take what you already have and make it better. Practice forgiveness with one another. You do not need to forgive the action, but forgiving the person is very important.

Familial relationships can be the most difficult, as we know each other and know what buttons can easily be pushed. Try not to push those buttons!  Try instead to nurture those relationships. Love each other unconditionally. Love, peace, and harmony can be yours for the accepting. Open up your arms and your heart and receive it.

Finally, it is important to be your true self. Don’t hide behind a mask. Relationships cannot thrive if you are pretending to be someone else. Reach down into the depths of your heart and find yourself, who you really are. Examine everything that you have to offer. You will find that there is much more to you than meets the eye. Look at this as a healing time. One where you get to begin, again.

You can also send the Fae out to assist others. They will always respond when you are asking on the behalf of someone else. If someone needs a little faith and inspiration, ask that the Fae help them out in this area. By sending the Faeries out to help someone else, you can expect the Fae to be even more helpful to you.

I hope that this message from the Fae helps guide you through the ups and downs of February! Remember to say a special little thank you to our Fae Friends, for the guidance, insight, and entertainment!

See you again next month, and keep the faith!
