Imagine a ray of blue light surrounding you, cleansing you of all worries and problems in your mind. When you feel this light has relaxed you, we can begin.

The sunset is the now a drop on the horizon; it’s almost near dark and you walk on the sandy beach. You take a deep breath, taking in the ocean air. What do you feel walking solo on this beach? You decide to be impulsive and take off all your clothes. You feel the air on your skin but don’t feel any cold. Whether you can swim or not in your other reality, you can in this land of cups. Seven cups stand in the sand, in colors from sky to midnight blues, all in a straight line as if almost blocking your way. You walk past the seven cups and dive into the clear blue ocean water. How does the water feel on your skin? You don’t go far when you feel something come up against your left shoulder. Whatever fear you have dissipates, seeing it’s a beautiful gray dolphin.

The dolphin balances on her head an aqua green cup that shimmers in the rising moonlight. You take the cup in your hand. There is a power in it that resonates within you. Does the dolphin speak to you or does she swim away? You finally swim back to shore with your cup. What does the cup whisper to you about? Dreams long buried? Spiritual issues that you have pushed to the side? Whatever it is, take time to be with the eight of cups.

You can put your clothes back on to leave or walk naked back into your reality. Now, open your eyes. Write down in your journal this trip with the eight of cups. Find ways in the next two weeks to unlock the depths of your heart and walk in freedom in your life.
