ARIES. 6 of Cups, upright.
Potential Challenges: Stale relationships (friends, lovers, et al). The same old way of expressing emotions. A team that acts too predictably.
Potential Resources: Reliable friends and loved ones. Maintaining a circle of people who inspire and nourish you. Experiencing emotional stability.

TAURUS. Empress, upright.
Potential Challenges: Smother-mothering people around you. Acting out the worst of your mother's traits. Giving so much of yourself that you feel drained.
Potential Resources: Able to nurture, comfort, and take care of others. Acting out the best of your mother's traits. Acting like a healthy parent to someone.

GEMINI. King of Cups, upright.
Potential Challenges: Burning your bridges with regard to loved ones. Sharing your emotions in an unacceptable manner. Discarding potentially helpful alliances.
Potential Resources: Walking away from relationships (of all kinds) that are no longer working. Willing to share your authentic feelings. Releasing outworn emotional patterns.

CANCER. 2 of Cups, reversed.
Potential Challenges: Choosing your least correct hunches. Endorsing some form of addiction. Saying "yes" to dysfunctional relationships.
Potential Resources: Having your intuition validated. Choosing deeper one-on-one intimacy. Saying "yes" to a richer connection with Spirit.

LEO. 3 of Pentacles, reversed.
Potential Challenges: False promises of commitment. Scheming to trap someone. Overly cautious or planning too much around safety concerns. (Do you really need the 20 -foot fence?)
Potential Resources: Setting up the conditions for your own "luck". Studying long-term wellness programs. Clarifying what makes you feel grounded and safe.

VIRGO. Ace of Pentacles, upright.
Potential Challenges: Wishing for health and wealth but doing nothing about it. Starting projects without finishing them. Provoking physical abuse.
Potential Resources: A new job offer(s). Beginning to be more financially responsible. Coming up with fresh, original tools, projects, or products.

LIBRA. 10 of Cups, upright.
Potential Challenges: Acting emotionally distant. Ignoring the important people in your life. Hemming and hawing about committing to some form of relationshiop.
Potential Resources: Looking before you leap into a close relationship. Able to be emotionally objective. Experiencing a healthy separation from someone.

SCORPIO. Magician, reversed.

Potential Challenges: Over-analyzing and blaming yourself. Trying to fix it all on your own. Always pleading with Spirit for immediate answers.
Potential Resources: Excellent self-discernment. Giving yourself reality checks. Working to transform your own consciousness at will.

SAGITTARIUS. Emperor, upright.
Potential Challenges: Getting on a power trip over others. Giving your power away to people or organizations. Problems with father, government, or business.
Potential Resources: Able to wield your authority with grace. Aligned with large organizations and powerful people who can help you succeed. Acting out the best of your father's traits.

CAPRICORN. Queen of Pentacles, reversed.
Potential Challenges: Demonstrating just how well you can beat yourself up. Continuing a long-standing "unlucky" streak. Being the quintessential stick in the mud.
Potential Resources: Acting like an adult about commitment and safety. Establishing a long-standing "lucky" streak. Using your well-seasoned ability to ground yourself.

AQUARIUS. 2 of Swords, upright.
Potential Challenges: Needing constant outside validation of your thoughts. Claiming others' ideas as your own. Picking and choosing texts out of context to prove a point.
Potential Resources: Deciding to take up a new lifestyle. Saying "yes" to speaking or teaching engagements. Accepting a networking opportunity.

PISCES. 9 of Swords, upright.
Potential Challenges: Constant bickering. Flooded with too many thoughts and ideas. An unwieldy barrage of information or paperwork.
Potential Resources: Practicing a fluid, flexible communication style. Immersing yourself in neighborhood activities and discussions. A healthy mix of ideas and opinions. (Conference? Council? Symposium? Other?)
