Dear Friends,

This month we'll dip into the Elemental Tarot for our insights. It's a beautifully executed set of images by Caroline Smith.

ARIES. 4 of Air. Ideas slowly come to fruition. While you take things at a leisurely pace, your ideas take on a life of their own. You know that feeling of fresh air after a good thunderstorm? That's the sense I get for your July. Perhaps go out and actually walk in the post-storm breezes to revitalize yourself.

TAURUS. 9 of Earth. Goodies galore! July brings celebrations of tangible rewards. Business mergers look good. Physical activities and sporting events abound. Let your body go for it!

GEMINI. Son of Air. A clear, focused mind is a boon to the community around you. You give or receive (or both!) a message that is connected with earth consciousness. You discover just how simple true wisdom is.

CANCER. 4 of Water. Your knack for creating safe space, nurturance, and relationship is high this month. July would be a good time to address unspoken feelings and shadow material in any groups you're connected with. Otherwise, that which is unspoken could create emotional barriers. Clean the vibes!

LEO. 4 of Earth. July is your month to fashion tangibles -- pottery, projects, health, comfy space, money, or managerial details, for example. You're setting good boundaries around what's yours and what can be shared with others. And there's more discipline to do with your creative energy.

VIRGO. Son of Earth. Obsessed about material well-being? Feel like it's a long climb to success? It's time to be a money-warrior -- welcome to boot camp! You're learning the difference between forcing something to happen and allowing it to happen. A helpful resource is right under your feet. Take time to reflect, then you'll suddenly see this potential stream of income.

LIBRA. Ace of Earth. A fresh start in the "real" world -- new skills, better health, job offers, fresh space, etc. Any seeds you planted last winter are starting to sprout. With this comes a sense of groundedness, security, and faith in life again.

SCORPIO. 3 of Earth. You're doing prep work around money, body, space, and security -- getting an action plan together. You and those close to you may feel more nurtured than you have in a while. It feels like a sorting out month -- what to begin, what to wait for, when to do it on your own, when to ask for help, etc. A little balance between hard work and jubilant play is called for.

SAGITTARIUS. 3 of Fire. Your connection with Source (Goddess / God / Life / Spirit / Tao / whatever) feels strong. Consequently, you're a sort of beacon or "lighthouse" for other people. You're getting clearer about who you are, who you will be, and who you won't be. The real you is emerging!

CAPRICORN. Virgin (Priestess). Intuition, spirituality, dreams, deep feelings, and the inner realms are on full-tilt in July. Your "practical" nature might rebel at first, but why not just flow with it? Intuition IS highly practical, dear Capricorn. That's part of this month's lesson. Some of you may feel "overly cosmic" or "spacey" -- just ground yourselves by taking notice of what's here and now.

AQUARIUS. Daughter of Water. Just like the Capricorn folks, it's a month of inner work, ancient wisdom, intuition, and spirituality. Your lesson around it seems to be in daring to express it. You feel called to recommit to a spiritual or intuitive practice that you let sit on the shelf for a while. It can help you become more centred.

PISCES. Strength. You're demonstrating strength, confidence, and dignity in very real ways. Your physical activities and your bearing say, "I am strong!" The presence of animals and Nature is very stabilizing. You've survived much, now you can thrive.

All good things,
James
