Take a seat and clear your mind. Imagine all the worries of your mind falling down your back like rain. When you are ready, begin.

You are in the Castle of Wands in the desert. You are inside the great palace with gleaming marble the color of the sunrise. You follow the stones out of the long hallway into a lush oasis. You can smell the water before you see it. Voluptuous palm trees sway in the breeze. Are you alone or is there someone here?

“This is my haven.”

A woman walks up to you. What does she look like? How old is she? Is she familiar? She walks regally, in flowing robes the color of red with iridescent sparkles of yellow interwoven. She has a thin crown with a garnet stone in the middle.

You graciously give respect to this woman: Queen of Wands, Queen of High Noon, Adventure, Passion, Creativity and Enterprise.

“My Lady.”

She smiles and is radiant. The Queen waves her hand toward the trees.

“Each tree here grew from a wand, a wand as the one you carry given by my young child to you earlier. Each one is a symbol of the hopes and dreams of people from your place.  This tree is a baby never thought to be conceived, this one a business that took ten years to finally be successful, and another, a trip to faraway lands that took much courage and money to be saved to go on. So many trees, so many things born that have survived and thrived.”

She walks to the left and you follow a few steps behind her. You see the trees here have changed. They are gnarled, fragile and dying.

“These are the dreams, hopes and struggles that never made it because of lack of faith, endurance and other things. I keep these trees to remind me that all creations of things, ideas and people must follow a rhythm to grow, survive and thrive. If this rhythm and harmony isn't honored, then what you wish to pass will not come to bear fruit.”

The Queen of Wands offers you her hand. You gladly accept it because this lady has given you much to think on. Now, you can stay here and talk with the Queen in her Oasis. Take a much time as you wish or need. When you are ready, you will give your goodbye to the Queen for honoring you with her time.

Before you go, he Queen of Wands gives you a present. What is it? When this gift is granted, you will walk out of the oasis and back to the hallway.

Eventually the hallway leads back to your reality. Take a moment to center yourself back into your world. How is it meeting with the Queen of Wands? Write down all in your tarot journal.  Remember, you can always return to see her any time.
