Request: Prison Service Project Donations
Your Help is Needed!

The Opportunity
Do you believe a study of Tarot can build character and foster personal and spiritual growth? Would you like to share your love of Tarot with someone else ... and perhaps make a real difference in that person's life in the process?

If so, then you should consider donating a new or gently used Tarot deck to the American Tarot Society's Prison Service Project. The PSP supplies prisoners with Tarot books and decks, then connects them with mentors who guide their study. Currently, our program is running extremely low on Tarot decks ... and this is your opportunity to help!

How You Can Help
Because of regulations in the various penal facilities, we need decks with little or no nudity. Photographic nudity is not acceptable in any of the institutions. We've been able to use the following decks successfully in the past:

Decks with No Nudity

  • The Oz Tarot

  • Animal Wise
  • Hudes
  • Whimsical Tarot
  • Tarot of the Saints
  • Baseball Tarot
  • Halloween Tarot

Decks with Limited Nudity

  • Herbal Tarot
  • Native American Tarot
  • Medicine Woman
  • Tarot of the Spirit

If possible, decks should still be sealed in their shrink wrap, but we are also able to accept used decks that are sent in their original box or packaging. We appreciate any help that you can give us in keeping our PSP program going by the generous donation of a deck or decks. Donations should be sent to:

American Tarot Association
2901 Richmond Rd Ste 130 #123
Lexington KY 40509-1763

If you have any questions as to whether or not a deck you wish to send is appropriate, please contact the Membership Director, Rickey Hite, at ata@ata-tarot.com.

Thanks for your help.
