Breathe in and breathe out until you feel at peace. When you are ready, we can begin.

You find yourself back in Oceania. Wave opens a door for you into a huge room the color of the sky. The walls are made of two waterfalls on either side. You hear no noise, just the aroma of the ocean. There are three steps that lead into an elevated floor with pillows in a rainbow of blue: ice blue all the way to midnight. There are mirrors scattered around the elevated floor. The back of the wall is made of glass where you can see the ocean and her life swimming around.

“She’s waiting for you,” whispers Wave. He gives you a strong squeeze on the shoulder. You look at him and he gives you a wink. You see no one there. You turn back to see Wave is gone then look to the pillows to see a woman sitting on them. Who does this woman look like to you? Is she familiar or another version of you? She is dressed in a long silver blue gown and a huge aquamarine diadem on her head. She smiles and reaches her hand to you.

You walk to her, feeling what inside?

“Welcome to my sanctuary, my dear. I am Magdalena; that is one of my many names. I am best known as The Queen of Cups.” Her voice tinkles like sweet music to you.

“It’s beautiful here.”

Magdalena holds up a beautiful large cup with blue agates and turquoise stones surrounding the rim. “This is the cup of life. Past, present, future is all the same. We only think it’s not. The way to unlock the secrets is to feel. Feel the truth of who you are and want to be. Do you understand?”

“I think so.”

“Good. You have come a long way. Look into this cup and see.”

The Queen of Cups gives you the cup of life. How does it feel to hold this? What do you see and/or feel peering into the clear waters of the cup? When you are done with the cup of life return it back to the Queen. You may stay with her as long as you like. This open-hearted queen is able to listen and understand all.

When you are ready, the Queen of Cups will walk you back to one of the waterfall walls and when you walk through the water, you’ll be back in your reality. How was your time with the Queen of Cups? Record and reflect in your tarot journal.
