Tarot Reflections

Welcome to the unfolding journey through the Tree of Life.

Allow the Major Arcana Tarot symbols, to guide and enlighten you at each of their stations.

On previous travels, we were greeted by the faithful Fool, restored our confidence with the Magician, shared natural abundance with the Empress and lastly, mutual respect from the Lovers.

Join me now, as we collect these gems of wisdom and head south east, through the center of the Pillar of Harmony. The approaching brilliance, illuminates our loving desire to share and receive.

Quickened in the wink of an eye, we pass and exit Tipareth, the gate of 6, the place of BEAUTY.

Perhaps all too suddenly and unexpectedly we become drawn in by a dramatic contrast of light. A deep violet mist surrounds our steps, hurried by the steep incline of a darkening valley. One foot, then the other, as we tread along the deepening shadows to be greeted by the Time Keeper, who directs us to the path called DEATH ... the seed of change and rebirth. 

With all the wisdom and understanding acquired from life's journeys, we come to learn that change is assuredly constant and consistent. Yet we may fear the mysterious unknown. 

Although we know the things that no longer serve us, our nature may be reluctant to RELEASE and accept certain expired aspects of old. We may choose to dwell and fight for the ever more miserable comfort of familiarity. Eventually we become prisoners of our own choice, as we allow the dark side of the soul to blind and restrict us in its coffin tight grip.

Shall we become locked into the decomposing fruits of life, because we fear the unknown fruits of the seeds we bear? These seeds are a labor of love, holding all our potential, bearing new joys and the fruits of our Spirit.

A shrouded dark vision approaches us. We are asked to step into a warm spring that encompasses the reception area of this quiet peaceful passage. As we immerse, we begin to feel the softening effects of SURRENDER, the first phase of our threefold process.

The stranger directs us to soak in the aromatic tincture of the comforting memories and the joyful experiences that add healing and enrichment to life.

Leave room now for the bubbles of growth brought on by sorrows and anger.

Appreciate them for all the beauty and wisdom they have brought you.

Thank them for the forgiveness and understanding they have taught you.

See that they are all a part of the wonderful person you have become.

As we steep, we may come to the painful places of scorching and molding.

Take all that you have earned from these special experiences.  RELEASE the rest into the final Spring of Tears, to evaporate in the healing steam of forgiveness.

Accept that life is not an easy road to travel and embrace all that was taught to you on your way. These are the things that have made you who you are.

As we give birth to the new seed of Spirit, find solace in the knowledge that we are connected to each other eternal in One Perfect Plan.

Remembering that it is through the separation of death, that we learn to live together.
