Let’s get comfortable by taking three deep breaths. Breathe in peace and breathe out stress. When you are ready, close your eyes.

You walk to the edge of the ocean. There is sparkling blue water as far as the eye can see. It is quiet. Sunset is exploding in orange and yellow. The ocean breeze adds to the autumn wind in the air. The waters begin to bubble as if something is coming. A grey dolphin jumps high in the air. A child rides on the back of the dolphin. The two glide right into the shallow waters where you are standing.

You see this is the beautiful child from before. “Come on, you found us. It’s time to go,” says the child. As if in agreement, the dolphin winks at you encouragingly.

“I’m Nile. This is my friend, Mari.”

“Hi. So you want me to ride with you?”

Nile nods and gives you a bright smile. How do you feel? Do you want to ride with the two of them or stay on the shore? Finally, you decide to get on. You get on Mari’s warm back. Before you get comfortable, Mari is speeding on the water.

“Where are we going?"

“You’ll see.”

The wind whistles in your ear. Water splashes around you yet you never felt so … what? Alive, happy, scared, nervous? As if by magic, an island of white sands appears.

“This is my home, Oceania. Some call it the land of Cups.”

Mari swims into shallow waters. Nile jumps off and you follow suit. You walk from the warm water to the beach.

“This is yours.”

Nile hands you a key in the form of a cup. You take it, feeling a sense of power vibrating from it.

“This key opens the door to the inner court of our lands. The door is invisible. You must trust your heart to guide you to the door.”

Does Nile have anything else to share with you? If so, listen. If not, Nile and Mari take their leave of you.

“Goodbye,” you say to each other. Nile impulsively dashes back to give you a warm hug, then jumps on Mari to glide on the ocean’s water. You may explore the island a bit if you wish. When you are ready to return, you just open your eyes.

How is your time with the Page of Cups? What key lies within your own heart that you need to find or regain? Take some time in the next couple of weeks to find out. As always, record you journey with the Page of Cups.
