Dear Friends,

Happy New Year everyone! May 2006 grace you richly in every way. Here are your tarot-scopes for January.

ARIES. Ace of Wands, reversed. You feel a new identity or self-image sprouting. As you imagine who you could become this year, you see the seedlings of where your personal growth could take you.

TAURUS. 3 of Cups, reversed. You're preparing to be more psychic/intuitive, practicing how to tune in. There's a sense of clarifying your private feelings about someone, quietly attempting to define the nature of the relationship.

GEMINI. Hierophant, upright. This month, you're aligned with a particular philosophy, spirituality, or teaching and living it in the world. You share your love for this way of being with others through teaching. It's a time to examine the world's ethics and morals and sort out which ones you go with and which you don't.

CANCER. 5 of Swords, reversed. It's a month for changing your mind, more than once, more than twice. Good thing you haven't told anyone your original thoughts yet! You're in the process of adjusting your belief system, which may account for all the mind-changing. This is the time to challenge people about gossip or info that was kept under wraps.

LEO. Hermit, reversed. January puts you in touch with inner wisdom. You withdraw from the world in subtle, perhaps only mental, ways. Collecting data and doing behind-the-scenes research is important to you this month. What you find simply confirms what your inner Wise One already told you!

VIRGO. Lovers, reversed. You're cooperating with Spirit and with your soul's yearnings. You feel aligned with the cosmos and in love with who you are at this time. Practical matters can be completed more efficiently be creating "backstage" alliances.

LIBRA. Page of Cups, reversed. No longer hesitant to express your psychic self, you dare to blurt your intuitive flashes and to act on them. You recommit to a process of healing or recovery after a hiatus from it. This can keep you out of risky behaviors connected with moods, substances, or both.

SCORPIO. 8 of Swords, upright. Your ability to organize information is good -- editing written works, getting thoughts on paper, etc. There's an awareness of the limitations that your local community places on your lifestyle, so planning a vacation (whether or not you take it) seems like a good remedy. Your verbal boundaries are clear!

SAGITTARIUS. 7 of Pentacles, upright. Finances grow and expand. There are multiple streams of income and other tangibles. You get out of ruts connected with work or administration. It's a great time to enlarge living space and experiment with health programs.

CAPRICORN. 9 of Pentacles, upright. Blending your skills and resources with those of others keeps you in a flow of prosperity this month. Mergers of all kinds pay off. And speaking of merging, January looks like a good month for sex -- enjoy!

AQUARIUS. Queen of Swords, reversed. The searching and sorting connected with life's bigger questions pays off -- your worldview is maturing and your thought processes are working well. One-on-one communication skills are at a peak, so private conversations work better than group meetings. In family situations, keeping your thoughts to yourself is the adult thing to do, for the time being.

PISCES. Magician, reversed. Self-analysis is the name of the game this month. You're sorting out what's real or imagined, what's remembered or invented. Through this analysis, you're able to "make magic", to change your consciousness at will.

All good things,
