Arnell Ando,
Tarot and the Artist (Panel Discussion)

Arnell Ando is a Jungian based Expressive Arts Therapist and certified Tarot Grandmaster. She has created 3 Tarot decks thus far including, Transformational Tarot, which was published in 1995. Arnell has combined her studies in the spiritual and psychological fields and her passion for mythology to create her unique interpretation of the Tarot. She conducts art and Tarot workshops in San Diego and at various symposiums. Joanna Powell Colbert,
Tarot and the Artist (Panel Discussion)

Joanna Powell Colbert’s mythic art has been beloved in the Goddess and Pagan communities for nearly 20 years. She is currently at work on an Earth Spirituality-centered deck, “A Gaian Tarot.” Her work appears regularly in SageWoman and PanGaia magazines as well as many other alternative publications. She writes a column on Tarot for SageWoman, and has taught classes on women’s spirituality and Tarot in the Bellingham, Washington area for over 10 years. She also designs websites and specializes in commissioned mythic portraits. She and her husband, Pagan musician Craig Olson, live in a straw bale house they built themselves on Lummi Island. Ron Decker,
Etteilla’s Hellenistic Allegories

Ron Decker has studied the Tarot since 1970. He hopes to discern its original uses and meanings in Renaissance Italy. He has examined rare Tarots in collections around the world. With games historian Thierry Depaulis and philosopher Michael Dummett, Ron helped to research and write A Wicked Pack of Cards: The Origin of the Occult Tarot in France (1996) and, with Sir Michael, A History of the Occult Tarot 1870-1970 (2002). Ron is currently working on a book to accompany the Medieval Scapini Tarot (U. S. Games Systems).

Lon Milo DuQuette, CTGM: Ceremonial Magician & Humorist. Author of ten Tarot-related books including Understanding Aleister Crowley's Thoth Tarot — The Chicken Qabalah of Rabbi Lamed Ben Clifford — My Life with the Spirits — Magick of Thelema — Angels, Demons & Gods of the New Millennium, and creator of Tarot of Ceremonial Magick. He lives with Constance, his long-suffering wife of 35 years, in Costa Mesa California, and claims to be the reincarnation of no one but himself.

Mary K. Greer,
P.C. Smith, A.E. Waite, and the RWS Golden Dawn Tarot

Mary K. Greer is an author and teacher specializing in methods of self-exploration and transformation. She is featured at Tarot conferences and symposia in the United States and abroad. Active in several Tarot associations and internet discussion groups, she teaches and writes for the women’s and pagan communities, and is an Arch-Priestess/Hierophant in the Fellowship of Isis. She resides in the foothills of the Sierra Nevadas. Her books include: The Complete Book of Tarot Reversals (2002), Tarot for Your Self: A Workbook for Personal Transformation (1984; 2nd edition, 2002), Tarot Constellations: Patterns of Personal Destiny (1987), Tarot Mirrors: Reflections of Personal Meaning (1988), The Essence of Magic: Tarot, Ritual, and Aromatherapy (1993), and Women of the Golden Dawn: Rebels and Priestesses (1995). Isha Lerner,
Tarot and Fairy Tales

Isha Lerner has been working with astrology, tarot, and the healing arts since the early 70's. She is a consultant and teacher who interweaves astrology, tarot, fairy tales, and flower essence therapy into her life and practice. She is author of Inner Child Cards: A Fairy Tale Tarot, The Inner Child Card Workbook, The Power of Flowers: An Archetypal Journey Through Nature, and The Triple Goddess Tarot. Mark McElroy works as a training and creativity consultant for a range of corporate clients, including MCI, SkyTel, Staples, and Office Depot. In addition to designing multimedia training modules, he offers workshops on visual brainstorming for business. Teresa Michelsen,
Tarot and Lunar Cycles

Teresa Michelsen is a tarot reader and instructor who has been reading and studying tarot since she was 13. She is well-known on the tarot e-mail lists under her reading name of Thrysse, and has published many articles on tarot on the worldwide web and in ATA publications. She is a Certified Tarot Master and Secretary of the American Tarot Association. Teresa teaches on-line tarot courses and workshops for beginning and intermediate readers, and will soon publish her first book on Designing your Own Tarot Spreads (Llewellyn, March 2003). Her award-winning tarot website, www.tarotmoon.com, is a favorite destination of tarot readers who come for her lessons and articles on tarot and examples of completed tarot readings. Teresa lives near Seattle, Washington with her husband Niels and black cat Shadow. In addition to her tarot work, she holds a PhD in Environmental Science and Engineering, and has a independent consulting business as an environmental scientist, specializing in cleanup of rivers and urban waterfronts.

Christine Payne-Towler,
The Mystical Tarot

Christine Payne-Towler has made a lifetime study of the imagery and history of Tarot. She is the interpretive genius behind the divinatory program at Tarot.com. Christine has authored The Underground Stream - Esoteric Tarot Revealed. Many of these chapters also appear in the essay section of Tarot.com. Christine functions as a professional Esotericist, applying the traditional techniques and technologies to the life issues of modern seekers. Art Rosengarten,
Tarot and Psychology

Dr. Art Rosengarten is a Jungian-based licensed psychologist and widely recognized expert on the psychological use of Tarot cards. He is author of Tarot And Psychology: Spectrums of Possibility (Paragon, 2000) and wrote the first accredited dissertation on Tarot in 1985. He is both a Diplomate of the American Psychotherapy Association and a member of the Advisory Board of the American Tarot Association. Dr. Art has taught The Tarot Circle and Intuition Mind Seminars throughout California over the past 10 years. He has appeared twice on The Art Bell Show (Coast To Coast) discussing Tarot with related subjects such as the DC sniper, Shadow People, and the UFO Phenomenon. Tom Tadfor Little,
Tarot: The Game of Cosmic Powers

Tom Little is a tarot hobbyist with a wide range of interests. He is a devoted student of tarot history, a card reader, author, deck designer, and teacher. When he's not busy with tarot projects, he works as a health physicist at Los Alamos National Laboratory. He holds a PhD in astronomy, is active in the Unitarian Universalist church, and has been a practicing Pagan for several years. He lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Sandra Thomson,
Tarot Noir: The Shadow Side of the Deck

Sandra A. Thomson is a co-author of three Tarot books (The Lovers’ Tarot, Spiritual Tarot, and The Heart of the Tarot), and one dream book (Cloud Nine: A Dreamer's Dictionary). Her Tarot dictionary (tentatively titled Pictures from the Heart) is forthcoming from St. Martin's Press. Both a California licensed psychologist and a marriage, family, and child counselor, she is now a free-lance writer. With her partner, Robert E. Mueller, she teaches Tarot classes at the Philosophical Research Society in Los Angeles. Dr. Thomson is the current president of the American Tarot Association and was recently honored by both the Tarot Certification Board of America (TCBA) and the Canadian Tarot Network (CTN) as a Certified Tarot Grand Master (CTGM).

Marie White,
Tarot and the Artist (Panel Discussion)

Marie White is a self taught artist and mystic, drawing inspiration from esoteric studies, comparative mythology, visions, dreams, meditation, animals, and patterns observed in the natural world. For the past 5 years she has been combining her love of these things to create the Mary-el Tarot. She owned an art gallery called The Three Legged Cat in the Arts Colony district of Pomona, CA, and her work has appeared in many galleries and private homes in Southern California where she works and lives. Katrina Wynne holds a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology with emphasis in Process-Oriented Psychology. She has over 30 years experience with Tarot wisdom.
